Welcome to Divvie's Furniture
The business was established by Isak van Deventer and his father in 2007.
They started off by focusing on hand crafted solid wood furniture (includingsleeper wood), cabinetry and general joinery. As time progressed, the demand for kitchen cupboards and vanity unitsbecame more on demand, for both built-in and free-standing units.
We have managed the skill with our realistic 3D remodeling and design softwareprogram to improve our services for the upmarket clients. We also had to master the art in deco spraying. This has been our core business for the past 11 to 14 years. With the specialized equipment we can do everything from cuttingboards, edging and deco spraying of materials. This is what gave Divvie’s Furniture the edge over other manufacturers that had to wait for materials thatneeded to be cut and edged.
We have grown over the past 18 years to a well-oiled factory that can manufacture a wide variety for the upper-class market client needs. With our capable staff that has been carefully selected and trained over the years, we are able to do almost anything from joinery (doors, windows, doorframes), kitchen cupboards, bedroom cupboards, furniture, balustrades, staircases,wooden decks and patio furniture.
The project we did in Kwaaiwater was published in House & Garden, and Sarie Woon magazines.
In 2015 we did a development in the golf estate, Eighteen on 18, where we finished 16 units in 7 months.

Our projects was mostly done in Arabella Golf Estate, Fernkloof, Lakewood and Prestwick Golf Estate in Hermanus. Other projects include Spookfontein Wine Cellars, Sumaridge Estate Wines, Birkenhead Brewery and Hermanuspietersfontein.
